Tourist flights to see the wonderful Aeolian islands from above. these, better known as the Lipari islands, are an archipelago of volcanic origin and we find them just north of the Sicilian coast.
Our tourist flight will depart from the V. Bellini airport of Catania and will take you on a breathtaking tour to discover a concentration of beauty unique in the world. From Catania we will fly over the coast to Taormina, a look at Isola Bella, below us, and head towards the Aeolian Islands.
Flight and excursion to Mount Etna before arriving at the Aeolian Islands
On our route the Etna, the majestic volcano with its 5 active craters that continuously shape its appearance and the countless extinct craters. The latter suggestive as much as the active ones, are many on the flanks of the volcano. Some of these are very close to inhabited centers which in the past, even recently, have experienced the risk of losing part of their territory.
After a short flight on the Silvestri mountains and on the top of the volcano, we project ourselves with our helicopter on the Nebrodi mountains to cross them and dive into the sea of Milazzo. The natural landscape of the Nebrodi is surprising because it is very rich in vegetation, anomalous for the very hot region and with scarce rains. From the helicopter it is possible to see numerous wind turbines which unfortunately constituted the real destruction of the Nebrodi park.

It is very difficult to define one more beautiful than the other, because when you think you have seen the most beautiful panorama, you will see another that takes your breath away!
The islands are all of volcanic origin, and two of them still host active volcanoes (Stromboli and Vulcano) which periodically offer us natural fireworks visible from a great distance. But do not worry, in the event of an eruption we will keep a safe distance to enjoy the show without any risk.
